Donate to the Ruby Quill
The Ruby Quill does happen to cost money to run. If you can find it in your heart to give a few dollars to keep this site up and running, please donate by clicking the below button. We will soon have to pay this years fee which is $239.40 a year. It is due in August, so if anyone would like to help out. Here is the time!
Note: If you are going to use a credit card, please realize that PayPal does take away money for Credit Card transactions.
The current fees are 2.9% + $0.30 USD per each transaction. If you want the RQ to get a certain dollar amount, please add the referenced fees to the amount you are sending.
Example: Jack wants to send us $10.00. He would have to send $10.59 for the RQ to get the whole 10.00.
Other Donation Options
You can also donate to the Ruby Quill by buying a writing book by Holly Shop who is an affiliate that pays monthly. This way you actually get something for your donation. I have most of Holly's books on writing, and they are a great help. She also has free mailing lists for writers where she sends out tips for writers and other things. Even if you don't donate, check those out!
